A TRIBUTE TO CA&PD – MY PARENT DEPARTMENT

One of my friend remarked on my transfer from CA&PD department two months back that good & bad things of your old department will haunt you even after you have gone from there. It was not taken seriously right then but now truth lying in statement is being felt. I might be out of that department since last two months but my heart is still there. It is not as if I was not dying to get out of the department but something is still holding some part of me there. May be the length of time I was in there played its role.

Whatever is said about the department & present messy condition of the department notwithstanding, there is no denying the fact that I have learned many lessons, got most valuable experiences & made most affectionate relationships of my life being there. It was there that I got guidance of my great seniors like Mr. Pankaj Magotra, Mrs. Nitu Gupta & Mr. Mumtaz Ali & also love of my gifted friends like Deep, Ved & Madan as well as unconditional support & respect from my fellow workers like Rinku, Rishi, Sunil & others all of whom are more like my family members rather than anything else.

Though I had to encounter clashes on number of occasions due to difference of opinions but I was supported in my work more or less by most of my Directors which helped me earn the respect of my fellow officers & officials. This was the department which provided me opportunity to serve people in right spirit & to help them getting the most basic requirement of all- FOOD. It pushed me to many different situations- good, bad & ugly giving me lessons to face different aspect of life.

While moving out of the department after watching so many ups & downs, I was immensely satisfied & contended but I had to move on & time was just right for the change as I was becoming bit complacent & things were not moving at the pace I would have liked.

I have deliberately not touched the negative aspects of the department because this post is supposed to be a tribute to the department which gave me recognition & made me what I am today. Moreover the department in itself has no negativity, it is selfish interests of the few which has created a negative aura around the department essence of which otherwise is pious & pure.

Greatness of India

India is not just a country. It is a divine place where the lucky billion people of the world got the chance to live their own way. No religion, caste, creed, language or any other barrier comes in the way of its UNITY IN DIVERSITY. It has withstood great challenges to its integration from time to time. It has the roller coaster history showing its resolve against all odds.
India is the country which devised the Number System- a life line of today’s world. It developed the first science of medicine- The Ayurveda. It conquered the whole world with its cultural power without use of any military power.
India houses the great diversity of people belonging to different religions speaking different languages practising different socio-cultural activities & still living as one.
Indian democratic setup is a example for other countries to follow. It is the biggest & most vibrant democracy in the world. Its inherent strength can be gauged by the fact that when many countries of the world including some neighbouring countries housing a single religious & cultural set of people have to be controlled by the armies instead of democracy denying the basic rights to its people, it is our country which has never resorted to such practise inspite of many provocations both from outside & inside of the country. Since its Independence, it has never compromised on the principles of Democracy & Civil liberties. Indian Constitution ensures all basic rights to its citizen alongwith its safeguards.
The greatness of India lay in the fact that it allows its people to live freely without any bondages. Everybody is free to live in its own way practising its own belief. Everybody has the right to express & speak his/her own mind. Its only in India that one can speak anything – for or against the country & gets away with it. Everyone has the liberty to practise its religion – No ban on turbans, veils or anything else.
However, it is time to introspect that what we are doing for our Country. The irony is that the great heartedness of India is being exploited by few divisive, corrupt & mentally sick people. We have to stand against such disruptive elements & stand above religions, castes & languages to claim what we actually are- INDIAN.
JAI HIND.

Honesty & Corruption - Coexistence

Every force has equal & opposite reaction – Newton’s 3rd Law.
The aforementioned law is proven beyond doubt by brilliant, capable & wiser scientific fraternity throughout the world, so it could be safely inferred that every force existing on this world whether good or evil is countered by equally bad or good force respectively. The corruption is thus not alone in this mean world; it is accompanied by a small but very strong force of HONESTY. Honest people may be difficult to find out but they are very much there often working unnoticed in the world crowded by corrupt. The honest people are very meagre in number compared to huge majority of corrupt white & blue collared people, but they have resolve to maintain the balance & often to negate the appalling situations created by the corrupt. Honesty has its aura of its own which is billion time better than the impression created by the Corruption. Its very said to see that how this world has started accepting the corruption as part of the system & here the very purpose of humanity takes the beating. However the humanity is being saved from the total destruction by the handful of honest people much to the discomfort of corrupt. Thinking deeply & observing around you it could be safely said that corruption is inversely proportional to the mental peace whereas honesty is directly proportional to the mental peace. But, man being a week animal fell for worldly pleasures and succumbs to the idea of getting rich through corrupt practices & in the process loose his humanity & peace & get caught in a vicious circle. And the honest- He just live like a free bird with a satisfaction glowing in his face. Honesty & Corruption coexist & shall coexist, its only a matter of decision one has to make joining either of them. One has to decide that whether he/she will be part of the crowd or he/she will make the difference.

Fresh Air

Well deciding to create a Blog was easy, writing a post is heavy duty especially the first one. Having starting to write however, makes things bit easier. The basic idea was to see how it works but its more than that. The blogging gives a vent to pent up feelings which can be posted thoughtfully choosing your language, editing if required, something you can't do in a abrupt verbal conversation. It gives Opportunity to express yourself, your desires, your experiences & so on. Then it gives a bit of heady feeling too- A moral boosting high.
Title of this blog was kept keeping in view the Blogging concept. You are blasting ideas from your mind about various ups & Downs of life, hence the title- "Mind Blasts - Ups & Downs". Its something like writing your diary with the exception that you dont have to worry about your Handwriting with a option to share your feelings & ideas with the rest of the world & getting response to it. It gives you a space for yourself .
Starting a blog is like a breeze of fresh air for me. I hope i will be posting my blog reularly.
